Starting my Landscaping career in Japan in 1997, I was fortunate to pick up a job laying pavers around the giant city of Osaka and rebuilding Kobe after the earthquake. Once the year was up I returned to the Gold Coast and continued working as a landscaper for various paver / landscapers until I started my own business named Barkla Paving. After many years of this I travelled around Australia and resettled in Adelaide. I continued my business and added various forms of construction to my repertoire, taking the best I’ve learnt from others and creating my own methods and procedures to create beautiful long lasting Landscapes.
